the rules
respect others here. no judging.
after registering please change your display name to your character's first middle (optional) and last name.
you will have a week to fill out your application. if you need more time due to leaving or being ill, just PM an admin. after that you're accepted make sure to post in all of the claims sections (face claim, member dictionary).
at the moment we do not have a limit on how many characters you're allowed to have. role play as many as you can handle. if you can handle two, then only make two. if you can handle more, than make more. but if we see that some are being ignored, we will take action.
we would prefer if your face claim was an actual celebrity (actor, model, singer, etc) not a sitemodel or somebody 'internet famous'. but you can always send an admin a pm asking if you can use a certain internet celebrity. just don't get too upset if we say no.
we do not have a word count. but keep a few things in mind. no one liners at all.
try to match/keep up with the person you're rping with. If they posted around 500 words, don't respond with only 5. at least try for a solid 2-3 paragraphs.
role play in third person only.
meaning they walked to the bus. not they walks to the bus.
make sure that you're using correct and proper spelling and grammar. no text talk, that is in the cellular phone section.
no god-modding, you only control your character. you post as your character watching what the other one does, but you can't control them. no mary-sues or gary-stues. everybody has flaws and weaknesses, nobody's perfect.
advertise ONLY in the advertising section. do not spam the c-box with your ad. no linking your site in the cbox.
remember you must be 13 or older to join proboards.
when picking a play by/face claim, remember to pick somebody around their age. so nobody who is 50+ for your character that is like 18. and vice versa.
if you are role playing as a child, or a younger person. their face claim HAS to be 13 years or older.
signatures can be no larger than 500x300. do not stretch the page.
characters cannot be full named from characters from other fandoms. so there will be no Hermione Grangers or Amelia Ponds here.
cursing may occur. but do not let every other word be the f bomb. it just says that you don't have a wide vocabulary.
fights between characters may happen. but chill on the gore, dont describe every little detail.
fights between members, no. we want everybody to get along. if somebody is bugging you, PM an admin about it.
