HISTORY: [While her mother was a senior in high school, she hooked up with a sophomore. He didn't stay very long and left before she was able to tell him that she was pregnant with his kid. While rereading the Harry Potter books, she had decided to name her daughter Hermione, after the beloved character. Her mother had graduated a semester early and her daughter was born on Halloween.
While her mother was out going to college and learning, Hermione would be at home while her grandmother watched her. This continued until her mother was able to graduate and find a good job, which she did. Her mother soon became a nurse and was able to pay off her debts, buy a new place and start over. When her Hermione was still little, her mother soon met a nice man. The two began to date and realized that they both had kids. Which didn't bother either of them. Soon they married.
Hermione has always viewed her step brother as her actual brother. She never questioned anything different really. Sense they have the same last name, she merely assumed they were blood siblings. It wasn't until she had to do a paper on her family tree for class when she found out that they weren't really blood related. Although it never bothered her, she often wondered about her real father.
She would always bug her mother about her real father. Which always resulted in her mother getting angry. After a while and seeing how upset it made her mother, she stopped bugging her about it. But this didn't stop her from trying to find out. She searched all of her mother's yearbooks but didn't really find anything.
A few months ago her mother and father died in a fire. Nobody was certain as to what really caused it but a man had said it was a demon. With only her older brother and letter addressed to her real father, she was told that she might be able to find him at Robert Singer Academy.]
